Oilily Atelier. Marken - The small fishing village Marken on an island of the same name on Lake Marker Meer in Holland lent its name to two wallpapers. Delft - The city of Delft, famous for its Delft Blue Porcelain, is the inspiration behind an authentic design with hand-drawn stripes in a variety of blue tones. Bergen an Zee - The shimmering, fluorescent nuances of the soft and fresh pastel colours of the “Bergen an Zee” décor are reminiscent of the interplay of sun, light and water at this popular North Sea beach resort. Dwingeloo - A sea of red and pink is produced each year in late summer by the blooming heather all around Dwingeloo, South of Groningen. The eponymous wallpaper is just as beautiful: a light blue base is generously covered with innumerable blossoms in shades of dusky pink, blue and yellow. The flowers’ hint of fabric is a reference to Oilily’ s fashion lines.
